Mary is a young lady, a co-worker at Malmborg's. In chewing the fat one day at work, she asked about the site. When I got home I found the following ton of questions in an email. Instead of putting alot of time into a description of who I am, this correspondence can fill some of the gaps for you. If you have questions, write me.

Perry-
So, I saw the website and I think it's really nice. It looks good.
I was looking for that dream you had mentioned, though, and I never found
it. Let me know where to look or whatever, K?? Then as I was browsing,
I decided to look for some little tidbits about you. So I typed your
name into the search, and waited to see if anything came up. Well, it
did and I read the little page about Who, What, When, Where, and Why.
I saw something about Tammy, your loving lady, and wondered who it was.
Who is that Perry? It was my understanding you were not seeing anyone,
you little rascal!! What with your large women and their baggage and all.
Anyway, I was simply curious and thought I'd ask (although you don't have
to tell).
So, since the Tahini, have you tried anything new? If you discover
something really yummy, let me know. Oh, and speaking of yummy, have you
ever heard of or been to Bennihanas? It's a super good restaurant in
St. Louis Park. You should try it sometime.
Ok Perry, now I'm going to grill you. Ready? How many siblings do
you have besides your sister? What music do you like/listen to? Do you
know any other languages besides English? How long were you in the Navy?
What was it like? What religion are you? What are the rules you live
your life by? What's your favorite color? What are your cat's names?
When did you start smoking? Do you have any allergies, if so, to what?
What do you do on a normal day after work? What is your favorite type
of movie? Did you go to college? Where did you go to college?
Have you lived in Minnesota your whole life? What was your very first
job? What was the name of the first girl you ever kissed, and where was
it? What do you want to do with your life? If you could have any
occupation at all what would it be? What do you look for in a woman?
Do you live in an apartment or house? Are you a daredevil? In high
school, were you the nerdy kid, the brain, the popular kid, the jock,
or what? What occurrences happen to make your day a good one? What do
you eat for breakfast?
All right, now those were the questions right off the top of my head.
If any are too personal or you don't want to answer them, please don't.
I respect that. Ok, so that should keep you busy for a little while
anyway. I hope to hear from you soon,
                                                Mary
p.s. I just realized I'm in my dad's name on here. My address is:

Old page, Tammy was my last girlfriend and ex-fiance. The second year
veterans at Malmborg's know who she is. Old page, needs to be updated for
sure! Ask away, oh wait, you did later on...

******

Not since the day at work, but since I discovered the tahini, yes. Did we
talk about the Lamb's Quarters? Excellent, excellent steamed greens.
Haven't tried Bennihanas. Will some day, but you have to go try
Emily's Deli (Diner?) south of Broadway on University.

******
Ok Perry, now I'm going to grill you. Ready?
******

Ready... what the hell is this?? You writing a book??

******
How many siblings do you have besides your sister?
******

Me being oldest, 2 younger sisters, all 2 years apart. And you?

******
What music do you like/listen to?
******

Kill KDWB, Kill commercial radio, If it ain't the K it aint worth a crap.
All my radios are permanently tuned to AM770, KUOM, Radio K, radiok.org.
I like the funked up, weirdo, make you raise an eyebrow kind of music.
I like many of the local bands, punk, international, college, weirdo
crap... any style of song that reaches out and jerks my spine.
Lifter Puller, ICU, Halo Benders, Modest Mouse, Bright Eyes, Mark Mallman,
Beta Band, Kitty Craft, Suckpatch, Mason Jennings, Atmosphere, etc etc.
For bigger names, try Ministry, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pigface,
Primus, Violent Femmes to name a few. And you?

******
Do you know any other languages besides English?
******

Bits and pieces of German leftover from 9th grade, nothing more. Language
is a false concept rising out of rational thought that may have been
better left uninvented so that we wouldn't have left behind many of the
primal instincts that other creatures acknowledge and respond to. And you?

******
How long were you in the Navy? What was it like?
******

Six years, Navy Nuclear Power School graduate. It was like being in an
over politicized kindergarten. The politics sucked, but the bonds and
friendships were awesome. When 5000 guys are trapped together for months
at a time over the course of several years, strange things can happen.
False fronts like you see in the working civillian world are melted down
and people start to funk with each other. Practical jokes ruled the day
and I hate being away from that. People are much more uptight out here in
the **real** world.... HA HA HA!!! Funkers...
And you?

******
What religion are you?
******

I've banished organized religion several years ago. I favor treating
people similiar to how Jesus did while he walked the earth, with a mix of
attempting to tune into the 'lost instincts' of the spiritual world and
our inherent but buried primal instincts. Organized religions are tainted
pawns used by Satan to confuse and mislead people... ie, Christianity as
a whole is tainted by being associated with western thought and expansion
(crusades, American indian genocide, for example.) This predicament leads
people to look unfavorably at the Christians as being bad for forced
belief structures. In reality it has nothing to do with what Jesus was
talking about, and even if it did, the aboriginal cultures that are being
'converted' are all the by-products of when mankind was scattered into the
winds with the fall of the Tower of Babel. So I disassociate myself from
organized religion and rely on the simple belief that Jesus is my saviour,
He is the only person who has really made any sense to me. He spoke with
clarity in difficult situations. The only man I can think of
worthy of 'hero' status. And you?

******
What are the rules you live your life by?
******

Listen to funked up music, mess with people, eat lots of weird and new
stuff, and treat others as if they are Christ-like. And you?

******
What's your favorite color?
******

Petty info not worth truly identifying. Earth tones if I had to pick.
And you?

******
What are your cat's names?
******

The momma is Angel, she adopted me after my neighbors abandoned her when
they moved. (She was up a tree chasing squirrtles.) They had named her
Angel because they had given her CPR as a kitten when she drowned in her
water dish. At the time I gave her to one of those fatties I was living
with, but Angel picked me instead of her. I like to believe it's because
I responded to the cat's communications instead of trying to force the
cat to respond to our communications. The two kittens I'm keeping are a
blue and white male who is a mirror image of Angel, and his name is
"My Little Buddy" ('hey buddy' works as a call name.) He got that name
because he is the lover of the bunch. The other is an all black female
named "Little Sister" both named and kept on the basis that she used up
one of her nine lives in the nest when one of my sister's cats infiltrated
the nest when Angel was out. A massive fight erupted when Angel returned,
and I found Little Sister in death mode defense posture, not responding
to her momma or me. We (me and Angel) finally got her back into the nest,
but it took her about an hour to relax down. This happened just shortly
after they had opened their eyes. There-after she has been very skitterish
and shy, even nervous. It seemed in better interest not to force her
through another life trauma by putting her in a pet shop. As she grows,
she's becoming more sure of herself, but just with me. She's the
'little sister' that needs to be protected. And yours?

******
When did you start smoking?
******

18, driving into the cities with friends to party at night. And you?

******
Do you have any allergies, if so, to what?
******

None, healthy as a horse minus cigarette damage. Not even poison ivy
causes a reaction. And you?

******
What do you do on a normal day after work?
******

Almost always I check the phone to see if there is a message, but there
usually isn't, and then I feel ill. Then I gather food for the lizards
while it's still light out, listen to the K until it goes off the air,
roam the yard a little bit to plan out morning activities and to check
growth of plants, insert a CD once the K goes off the air at nightfall
(tonight it is Bright Eyes), check email, shoot the shyte with any friends
on any of the instant messengers who are online, and sometimes I'll do a
braindump into the computer into the wee morning hours. Sometimes I'll go
upstairs and hang out with my sister and her family a little bit. And you?

******
What is your favorite type of movie?
******

Head-f**ks, ie Naked Lunch, The Matrix, Natural Born Killers, and often
times sub-titled indies (they can be good for a real reality warp). I like
a movie if it haunts me for couple of days. And you?

******
Did you go to college?
******

Twice tried, never really stuck any out. Colleges to me, at this point in
my life, seem a bit over-rated. I've discovered that I learn easily and
I'm teaching myself tons about my favorite subject. College would be a
cool career though, constantly re-enrolling in new classes for new degrees
for a living! And you?

******
Where did you go to college?
******

Some classes in Potato State and some classes in Anoka Ramsey, and a year
in Vo-tech (Henn Tech? by the gravel pits) while I was a Jr in highschool.
And you?

******
Have you lived in Minnesota your whole life?
******

Born in St. Cloud, moved to Maple Grove at one year old, and graduated
from Osseo Sr in '86. Moved to the Florida Navy bootcamp and schooling
immediately after graduating for a year. Transferred to a hands on school
in Upstate New York for six months. Lived in Conneticut for about 6 weeks
waiting for orders. Moved to Norfolk, VA when I was stationed on the
aircraft carrier USS America CV-66 (non-nuclear). Spent four years
on her, there in Virginia. While there I spent 6 weeks at a school in
New Jersey, and 2 weeks in a school in Philadelphia. Then I got out and
came back to MN from VA via a road trip to NC and FL. After being back in
MN for a coupla years I decided to move back to FL for awhile but got
side-tracked and spent 8 months in Tennessee before returning back to MN,
and here I am. And you?

******
What was your very first job?
******

Cleaning out cocker spaniel kennels and being the personal assistant to
the ancient, rickety, crabby old lady who owned the kennel while I was in
junior high. And you?

******
What was the name of the first girl you ever kissed, and where was it?******

Melanie... kinda chunky at the time, shortly after breaking up with her
she ballooned up to 300+ and has remained there ever since to the best of
my knowledge! I think it was at a park near her house. And you?
(hehe... who was the first girl you ever kissed?)

******
What do you want to do with your life?
******

Happiness and freedom from 'the job', although Malmborg's is the first
job I've ever genuinely enjoyed working at. Okay, okay, more detail...
Umm... a quiet little house in the middle of absolutely nowhere with a
woman of like mind and mentality, perhaps a few farm animals, and several
greenhouses and/or fields of perennials, trees and shrubs, and a huge
collection of as many different varieties of plants that I could lay my
hands on. -OR- Walk away from society for awhile and wander the back
woods and fields of America for a coupla years. And you?

******
If you could have any occupation at all what would it be?
******

Independly wealthy off residual income. And you?

******
What do you look for in a woman?
******

Inner beauty, independant, capable, intelligent, a lack of belief in
"this" metropolis type society, interest in plant-life or life in general,
an exploratory sense of living, someone who can sincerely touch my soul
while I'm touching hers, and a lack of the bar scene, or a willingness to
walk away from the bar scene in search of a truer happiness. And you?
What do you look for in a woman??

******
Do you live in an apartment or house?
******

I live in the uninhabitable, crumbling cement basement of an old duplex
that was built over a century ago, literally when the streets were
travelled by horse and the first signs of motor vehicles were appearing.
(ie. a dump) My sister and her kids live on the main floor, and two other
ladies are renting the upstairs for awhile. Ultimately my sister's kids
are going to be living upstairs. And you?

******
Are you a daredevil?
******

Not typically, I don't seek out danger, but I will put myself in harms
way if harm is between me and a specific experience or circumstance.
(ie, I'm not afraid walk out onto a dangerous ledge, or approach a
poisonous snake, or whatever. Get the idea?) And you?

******
In high school, were you the nerdy kid, the brain, the popular kid, the
jock, or what?
******

I spent gradeschool and junior high as the dork that everyone picked on,
with few friends in general. I spent most of my childhood (when not at
school) in the woods behind our house, following an ant up a tree,
exploring the creek bed, exploring an abandoned farmyard, crossing from
one side of a lot to the other by way of the treetops, etc. etc. When I
was in early high-school I discovered music and was rapidly sucked into
the punk culture, and into a circle of friends that consisted of other
societal rejects and those who were fed up with all the popularity
bullshyte. All in all I think my childhood tribulations allowed me to
become more free thinking than many of those who were sold into the
popularity cliques, and ultimately sold into this false, non-living
societal standard of working to pay for a house so you have a place to
sleep when you're done working at the job that pays for that house.
And you?

******
What occurrences happen to make your day a good one?
******

Finding out that I had somehow positively impacted somebody's life, be it
a customer, friend, family member, co-worker, employer, or complete
stranger. And you?

******
What do you eat for breakfast?
******

Depends really. Usually something like a bowl of rice and a coupla
weenies, or a tahini & jelly sandwich, or a can of tuna, or a coupla
carrots, or Burger King/McDonald's, or a cold cut sandwich. That would be
the basic list for the past month or so. It is usually complemented with
a cup of gas station coffee, or a leftover pop from the night before, or
a beer or two, or water like this morning. Whatever is handy at the time.
And you?

******
All right, now those were the questions right off the top of my head. If
any are too personal or you don't want to answer them, please don't.
I respect that.

There aren't many things I hold private... maybe I should, eh?!
