The Bleeding Girl

Okay, so a friend was telling me about one of her recent dreams.

She watched a lady start bleeding from the inside out. The blood was coming out of her mouth very slowly, there was some blood on her fore-arm (or her fore-arm was injured?), and her father may have hit her (unclear to me what exactly was seen here, so I'll just say that a father was involved.)

The part you stressed the most was the distressed, or anguished, or horrified look on the lady's face just prior to and right as she started bleeding, like she could feel the blood pouring forward from inside, but was helpless to stop it.

I don't really know you all that well, but over the fast few weeks you have shared some fairly intimate information from your past. Call me a simpleton, but it sounded like a pretty straight-forward dream where you were watching yourself bleed, a sub-conscious reflection of the pains you may be carrying around with you from the past.

You once asked how you were supposed to unload some of the baggage. I don't have that answer. First off, I don't have any of the similiar baggage in my past, plus, of all the people I've been associated with in my travels, none of them ever truly wanted to confront any of the baggage, or dark dragons from their pasts. The ladies I've been with have always been content trying to bury those dragons instead of purging them, even using them as an argument or excuse.

I don't have the answer. I do, however, suspect that having positive influences, a sincere circle of friends, a love unadultered, and a growing self-esteem will do a lot to purge some of the baggage. You already know you have a smart head on your shoulders, you're insanely good looking, you've landed yourself a good paying job that has opened up a future with few limits, you know what you don't want and you've demonstrated your ability to say no when it's not right. All of the above are qualities or benefits that give you one hell of an arsenal to fight those dragons with.

You are the shit,
don't let yourself believe any less. Arm yourself over the years and some of that baggage might just cease to exist.

Okay, so that was all a crock of shit, it's the best answer I could come up with! As for me... ...don't sweat it. If you ever need a hand cutting fabric (or just a change of pace) gimme a call. You're good company and I'm honored that you've accepted me into your life. Strip away all the shit and what more could a guy really ask for?
